In this video I take it back to the old school kitchen days with basic supplies and equipment to show basic candle making for the beginner. Whether you are thinking of starting a candle business or just looking for a fun DIY project, this is the video to watch! The process is explained as simply as it can be with plenty of improvisations for equipment that you may not have.

Directions:

1. Melt your wax, whether in a double boiler or other improvised method, heat your wax to 180-degrees(F) or until the last bit of wax dissolves and the wax is clear in color.

2. Set your wax aside to cool and prepare your jars; affix your wick to the bottom of the jar and secure the top of the wick in place using a clothespin.

3. Add fragrance oil to the wax and stir thoroughly.

4. Add candle dye and stir thoroughly.

5. Pour candles. When the wax is at 140-degrees(F) or about the feel of a hot cup of coffee, you are ready to pour!

6. Let your candles sit for about 2-3 hours and enjoy the awesome candles you just made!!
